Adventure #01 – Page 10

Dart and Orson haven’t played enough video games that involve pushing and holding buttons.

Hi, everyone! Enjoying the adventure so far? It’s time to eat a sandwich, maybe. But just one – save the other for later.

Seeing all the wonderful work and color you put into your work bums me out! I’d never be able to pull myself together like that u__u

No way! It is JUST practise and improvement over time. Just keep trying new things and making mistakes, that it the fastest and best way to get better. You won’t even notice it.

Oh I agree regarding that! I love to take chances :3
But it was more so a complain about having A.D.D. or something haha seriously, halfway through a drawing I usually lose interest. One time I was drawing and shading a realistic face and halfway through I said to myself “fuck it, its symmetrical, the rest is a given”. And now every time people see that drawing they ask me why it its just half a face vanishing into white.

lol LAZINESS PEOPLE ;; You’re like my complete opposite! All those wonderful backgrounds you make and all… I don’t know, drawing backgrounds (for example) bores me to no avail ._.

Hi Rebecca! This comic is amazing. I love the colors and all of the fun concepts so much. Thanks for the sandwich. In return I brought your favorite chocolate–for youuuu!

Maaan, you know, I was kind of worried when I read over on KinokoFry that you had made this new comic! (Seriously, eeek.) Mostly because, I really enjoyed all of the collections over on KinokoFry, a good thinkin’ it does give.

But reading these first ten pages is just lovely. ♥ It’s really neat to see you with such a solid storyline going. (Or, maybe less solid and more ongoing, but all grrreat.) You’ve put such a noticable amount of work into it, it’s stunning!

Keep it up! ♪

This page reminds me of those old Daffy Duck cartoons where they break the 4th wall and he gets redrawn on the fly.

Great comic too. Very fun!

You know, I had the same worry as Jay – a new comic! To think of how sad the other comics would be, neglected and alone, stagnating in their fervent longing for activity. But then! Ruffle Hall is fabulous, and I am looking forward eagerly to the next installment! As with the rest of your art, it reminds me most strikingly of Dr Seuss, and this rings of a sort of modern-post-rhyming-third-person-limited version of that style. Marvelous!

This new comic is great! I just read through it all. I like the idea of all of the different worlds. It gives you a chance to be creative with your art (which you always are) within the confines of the story.

It’s so great!

I just love how video-gamish is your new comic, Rebecca! Loved it.

When you get deeper in the storyline I really whant to make a fan game based on it.

Great job so far!

I really love these! The art is fantasti-beautiful and the characters are super-dorable. Definitely a lot of Dr. Seuss influence in the landscapes, in a really good way.

… Hey, I don’t suppose there’s a chance Dart and Ormus’ll ever run into the Submameen, is there? Or the Xylosaur (RARR!) somehow feels to me like it could make a brief cameo, eventually.

Really Amazing job i really can’t wait to read your next comic

Keep the amazing work up Rebecca you Rock
